Shoot At Idlewood

ABOUT THE PROPERTY

Please plan to use the property AS IS. Photographers may bring furniture (sofa, chairs, bench) and small props (blankets, pillows, baskets, small seasonal decor items, etc.) for photography sessions ONLY. We may or may not be able to assist you in transporting props from your vehicle to the location of set up. 

 

Photographers are welcome to shoot anywhere outside the property.

 

The Sunroom (through the sliding door located in our fenced in section of our yard) can be made available for use as a changing area, but you MUST request this in ADVANCE to ensure the room is available. There is NO public restroom available on the property at this time, but there are nearby businesses 5 minutes away.

PARKING & ACCESS

Photographers and your clients MUST park in the driveway on the right side only. From the driveway, walk toward the right side of our house, and straight back to the yard. The fenced in area is where you can utilize our patio, deck, and sunroom. There is a bridge down the hill leading to our creek and small Orchard where you will find the majority of our apple trees.

 

Plan to ARRIVE NO EARLIER than 15 minutes before your allotted time and NO LATER than 15 minutes after your allotted time ends. We reserve the right to book multiple photographers on a single date. 

 

It is your responsibility to communicate to your clients where to park and how to access the property once they arrive!

 

SAFETY & PROPERTY CONDITIONS

Please keep in mind that the property is an outdoor location: snakes, poisonous plants, insects, uneven ground, sharp objects, and wildlife are common. Keep a close eye on children. Pets are welcome but please be cautious. We request that any pets stay on a leash.

 

RESTRICTIONS

• No boudoir photography - I have children on the property and nearby neighbors.

• No additional decor or any hanging items may be installed.

• Please respect the property and leave all areas as you found them. 

 

BOOKING AND PAYMENT

Payment is non-refundable but transferable to another date. Payments must be made via website. You will also receive a contract that must be signed for booking to be considered complete. Contract and deposit invoice will expire in 24 hours, so please pay and sign promptly.

 

PAYMENT STRUCTURE

There are two separate payments for photography sessions:

 

Idlewood Location Fee - $35 (paid here) 

Reserves the property for your selected date and time and includes:

Access to designated photography areas, such as:​

• Orchard with seasonal apples/pears

• Scenic creek and wooden bridge

• Meadow/wild grass areas

• Rustic porch with charm elements

• Decor and seasonal props when available (no extra charge)

• On-site support and set-up as needed

• Parking and arrival coordination

• Private, relaxed environment (no public crowds)

• The ability to bring family pets (with notice)

• Hands-free experience - everything set and ready before arrival

• Client closet- COMING SOON

 

Photographer Fee - paid to your photographer

Covers their time, editing, and delivered images. Your photographer manages their own pricing, payment, and contract.

 

BEFORE BOOKING

Please ensure the following:

• Your photographer has confirmed the date and time with you

• You understand the Location Fee and Photographer Fee are separate

• You will provide your photographer's name and contact information in the booking form

• You have read and agreed to property policies and terms

 

By completing this booking and payment, you are securing the property location only.

Your photographer will invoice you separately for their services.​

AGREEMENT & LIABILITY

By submitting payment for the Idlewood Location Fee, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to all Idlewood property policies and terms listed above. 

 

You understand that Idlewood is a private residence and that you, your photographer, and any guests enter and use the property at your own risk.

 

Lavish Experiences With Tavish and the owners of Idlewood are not responsible or liable for any injury, damage, or loss that may occur on the property.

By signing our contract, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms on behalf of yourself and all guests, participants, minors, and adults you bring onto the property. 

 

Photographers are responsible for communicating property guidelines to their clients and for ensuring all guests follow Idlewood's rules and respect the property.

 

By completing your booking, you agree to these terms in full.
